Graduating from Thompson Rivers University in 2008, Elaina has diligently and passionately been working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist since.

Diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea over 10 years ago at age 35, Elaina personally understands the gaps in care that exist from diagnosis to treatment.

Elaina’s passion and dedication ultimately has lead to her to founding, owning and operating MY SLEEP SERVICES.

MY SLEEP SERVICES aims to address a critical gap in patient choice and compliance within the sleep medicine industry.

Elaina’s primary focus is educating and assisting clients through the diagnostic process of sleep testing. She ensures clients leave understanding their sleep study results and have an overall better understanding of sleep disordered breathing and treatment options.

Outside of work Elaina can be found spending time with her partner Dave and her 2 dogs- Rosie and Quattro. Elaina also spends time supporting causes that have impacted her and her family’s lives. These causes include the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Organ Transplant, Canadian Institute for the Blind and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Steve believes the best sleep care begins by taking the time to listen. With more than 35 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, he understands that every patient brings a unique story, and that meaningful care starts with understanding the person—not just the diagnosis.

After spending half of his career in hospital acute care and the other half in sleep medicine, Steve discovered his true passion: helping people better understand their sleep health and guiding them toward solutions that improve their quality of life. As a Certified Clinical Sleep Health Specialist, he combines decades of clinical expertise with a calm, thoughtful approach that helps patients feel comfortable asking questions, exploring their options, and making informed decisions with confidence.

Steve shares MYSS’s belief that exceptional healthcare is built on trust, education, and genuine human connection. His goal is for every patient to leave feeling heard, informed, and supported—never rushed or overwhelmed.

Steve lives and works in North Vancouver, a community he is proud to call home. When he’s not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his family and continuing to serve the community where he has lived and worked for many years.

Originally from England, Dawn graduated from the University of Derby with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She brings over a decade of nursing experience to My Sleep Services, combining strong clinical knowledge with a calm, compassionate approach that helps patients feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the door.

Dawn believes that the best care begins with listening. She is passionate about helping people understand their sleep health, answering every question with patience, and ensuring each person feels informed and confident in the decisions they make. Whether she’s reviewing sleep study results or guiding someone through CPAP therapy, her goal is always the same—to help patients feel supported, understood, and hopeful.

Since moving to Canada with her husband, Dawn has become a Registered Nurse in Alberta and has continued to expand her knowledge through ongoing education. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys exploring Alberta with her husband and their two rescue dogs, one of whom they adopted from the Calgary Humane Society shortly after arriving in Canada.
